Overview

AI/ML Engineer role at General Motors South America. The role is part of the Metrics Frameworks team within the Simulation, Evaluation, and Data organization. The team collaborates with Simulation Evaluation, Embodied AI, and System and Test Engineering to enhance productivity by developing automation tools and shared libraries. Compensation and work arrangement: The salary range is $118,000 to $188,400. This role is hybrid, with in-person expectations at Mountain View, San Francisco, Warren, or Milford Technical Centers at least three times per week.

What You’ll Do
  • Create tooling that can receive signals from various sources (Simulation, Road, etc.) and enable users to build quantitative analysis pipelines to extract usable insights.
  • Accelerate team effectiveness by designing and implementing scalable automation tools for test creation, data collection and analysis, debugging, and performance monitoring.
  • Design and implement extensible and well-tested shared libraries used by engineers across the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive health economics and market access strategy across HeartFlow’s portfolio, driving cost-effectiveness analyses in collaboration with internal teams and external experts.
  • Lead market access initiatives in partnership with the SVP of Market Access & Reimbursement, securing coding, coverage, and payment for future products through engagement with physician specialty societies, CMS, USPSTF, AMA, and other key stakeholders.

Prior experience establishing coding, coverage, and payment in at-risk asymptomatic populations.
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience building, managing, and leading teams in Market Access, Payer Relations, and Health Economics required. Experience managing teams and consultants in different locations, time zones, and countries is greatly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s preferred.

This position has an estimated base salary of $250,000 - $320,000, bonus, and equity.

Position

We have an exciting career opportunity for a Network Engineer to join our Network Engineering team. This is a full-time role based in the office.

Responsibilities
  • Actively monitor and support the ticket queue.
  • Follow up with customers on support tickets to bring them to closure.
  • Engage with multiple vendors to resolve network issues.
  • Support, build, and test hardware integrations; manage cabling and server room maintenance.

Overview

Leadership & Management Experience
  • A demonstrated track record of leading, mentoring, and growing engineering teams, both in headcount and in the individual skill development of engineers.
  • At least 2-3 years in a dedicated Engineering Management role, as part of 8+ years of progressive software engineering experience.
Technical Breadth & Expertise
  • Broad technical knowledge with experience managing full-stack teams responsible for both backend services (Platform) and user-facing applications (Application).
  • Expert-level understanding of object-oriented programming, particularly with Java, as it is the core of our backend stack.
  • Proven experience with the architecture and maintenance of large-scale, high-performance distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with our technology stack is a plus: GCP, Python/Kotlin, BigQuery/Postgres, Dataflow/Spark, and Airflow.
Cultural & Operational Skills
  • Experience in a fast-paced, sub-200 person startup environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • A pragmatic approach to balancing engineering quality with speed-of-delivery to meet business needs.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Salary & Benefits The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across California and Colorado. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. California : Salary range is $225k - $40k + Bonus; Colorado : Salary range is 200k - 225k + Bonus
