Senior Web Developer – Build Scalable Digital Products with Next.js & Node.js (Full-Time, Remote)
Launchpad is looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer to help us shape and scale digital platforms that reach users around the globe. You’ll work across the stack Next.js, React.js, Node.js, PostgreSQL, while driving technical decisions, mentoring teammates, and delivering high-quality features that make a real impact. If you’re excited about crafting performant systems and collaborating with cross-functional teams, this one’s for you.
Start date: ASAP
Contract length: Indefinite
Work hours: Monday to Friday, 7.30 to 16.30 PST
Work mode: 100% remote
️ What You’ll Be Doing
- Build and maintain high-performance fullstack applications using Next.js, React.js, Node.js, and PostgreSQL
- Design scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs to power seamless front-end/back-end integration
- Lead technical planning sessions: define scope, estimate tasks, and guide implementation
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Marketing teams to deliver impactful digital experiences
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline build, test, and deployment
- Monitor system performance and reliability with tools like Datadog
- Ensure security and compliance are embedded throughout the development lifecycle
- Mentor team members and share knowledge on architecture, best practices, and technical decisions
- Support high availability and redundancy across dev and production environments
- Maintain clear, actionable technical documentation
- Stay current with emerging tech and contribute to internal learning and innovation
- Shape the broader product vision by delivering clean, scalable, user-first solutions
Must-haves
- 5+ years of experience in fullstack development
- Deep expertise in Next.js, React.js, and Node.js
- Strong database integration skills with PostgreSQL
- Proficiency in API development: REST and GraphQL
- Advanced experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
- Hands-on experience with observability/monitoring tools such as Datadog
- Familiarity with Docker, Git, and Git-based workflows
- Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communicator comfortable collaborating with technical and non-technical teams
- Experience working in Agile environments with iterative delivery cycles
- Experience with Elixir for building scalable, concurrent systems
- Familiarity with PHP in modern web development environments

About The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a large-scale Angular front-end application, as well as building and integrating the back-end systems using ExpressJS and various database technologies.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop complex, scalable, and high-performance Angular applications using the latest version of Angular and related technologies.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using ExpressJS and Node.js.
- Integrate the front-end with back-end systems, ensuring seamless data flow and communication.
- Design and develop database schemas for relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and document-based (e.g., MongoDB) databases.
- Implement best practices for code structure, maintainability, performance optimization, and security.
- Utilize NGRX for state management and RxJS for reactive programming within the Angular application.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design for optimal user experience on various devices.
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code using industry-standard coding practices.
- Participate in code reviews and provide guidance to junior developers.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in both front-end and back-end development.
- 7 or more years of related experience
- Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale Angular applications (version 8 or later).
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience with NGRX for state management and RxJS for reactive programming.
- Familiarity with building reusable and testable Angular components, services, and modules.
- Experience with ExpressJS and Node.js for building RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Proficient in working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and document-based databases (e.g., MongoDB).
- Knowledge of web networking protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, WebSockets) and security best practices (authentication, authorization, encryption).
- Experience with front-end build tools and processes, such as Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt.
- Knowledge of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility techniques.
- Proficient in version control systems, such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with front-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jasmine, Karma) and back-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and deployment processes (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and accessibility standards.
- Familiarity with front-end and back-end performance optimization techniques.
- Experience with Monorepos, ideally the NX Monorepo framework.

️ What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop robust and scalable software applications using Java, with a preference for version 11 or above.
- Design and manage relational (PostgreSQL) and/or document databases, including data modeling and querying using SQL.
- Actively participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Make sure applications are free of common coding vulnerabilities (and follow standard security practices).

Must-haves
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with building secure, scalable, performant, Java/Spring applications. (Version 11 and above.)
- Experience working with spring boot is required
- Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and/or document databases, including data modeling and SQL querying.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
- Knowledge/experience in Apache Camel/Integration including basic routing, error handling, split-aggregate, and dynamic routing.
- Knowledge of web services protocols (SOAP, JSON, Rest API).
- Understanding and experience with cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of Angular, React, Struts, or similar front-end technologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant certifications.

The Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Full Stack Developer to join our Data Discovery and Removal Automation Team , focusing on building automated workflows and crawlers that support Optery’s core data privacy services. This role is ideal for a highly skilled developer who enjoys working in fast-paced environments and developing innovative solutions.
As a Full Stack Developer , you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing automation workflows for data retrieval and processing. You will work alongside experienced engineers, product managers, and leadership to ensure seamless integration with our platform. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to explore and integrate generative AI technologies to enhance automation workflows, enabling greater scalability and efficiency.
This is a fully remote position, based in Latin America (LATAM) .
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize web crawlers, automation tools, and workflows.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code in Node.js.
- Implement and integrate APIs with third-party services.
- Optimize automation performance to ensure scalability and efficiency.
- Debug and resolve technical issues related to automation and web scraping.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand requirements and propose technical solutions.
- Ensure security and compliance best practices are followed when handling user data.
- 6+ years of experience as a backend or full-stack engineer building web applications.
- 2+ years of experience with Node.js in a meaningful project.
- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with web scraping, web crawlers, and automation tools.
- Knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL, SQL, NoSQL such as Redis, Elasticsearch, MongoDB).
- Understanding of user data security best practices.
- Experience working with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end development.
- Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment.
- Experience with Puppeteer for web automation and scraping.
- Experience with generative AI technologies and using them to enhance workflow automation.
- Familiarity with Python and Django.
- Familiarity with RabbitMQ, Kafka, or other event brokers.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, or Azure
This is a remote-first position, based in Latin America (LATAM) . Optery is headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area, but operates as a fully-remote global team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- .NET/C# full stack developer experience (+3 years) necessary
- Utilizes established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to ASP.NET, SQL Server, RabbitMQ, and REST APIs

- Enhances existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement.

As a full-stack engineer at ClassDojo, you'll help build the systems that will support our rapid growth. You’ll work on production code from day one in a pair programming environment, deploy often, move quickly, and have your work used by millions of students, teachers, and parents around the world every day. In addition, you’ll help us further develop our high-quality engineering culture, one that values rapid iteration, collaboration, and best practices. What you’ll do:Ship new and improved features to end users in collaboration with your team
- Write, debug, and optimize new and existing code for our web apps, API, databases, infrastructure with automated tests and monitoring
- Deliver code to production and features to users frequently and incrementally

As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer at Windfall, you’ll be making things work from start to finish. When we say “full stack”, we really mean it. You’ll be connecting services, creating API’s, and building out UI’s across multiple products in a fast-paced, collaborative, and highly iterative environment. As a member of our Platform Team, which historically has been all backend engineers, you’ll be bringing to life innovative and complex tooling for our internal teams, including Customer Success, Business Development, and Engineering.

What you will do:- Improve, extend, and tie together existing backend services to support our internal facing applications
